Lesson Programs

Leadline Lessons

for students ages 4-7 years old
offered April through December
Each leadline lesson is individually tailored based on the student's age and abilities. Lessons are mounted, approximately 20-minutes in length, and one-on-one with the instructor.

SWF Horsemanship Lessons
for students age 7 and up
Every horsemanship student starts the program with an Introduction to Horsemanship series of 4 group lessons where they learn the innate language of the horse and how to interact respectfully with the horse before they ride. In these lessons students will also learn to care for the equipment and stable area. Students may then move on to mounted private lessons either to evaluate previous riding ability or until a student develops adequate control of a horse for group riding (approx. 3 to 6 lessons). Parents are encouraged to attend the first few lessons.

 Summer Horsemanship Programs

Summer Horsemanship Program:  A week long horsemanship program (Mon. thru Fri., 9AM to 3PM) with daily mounted and unmounted lessons, barn chores, games and incentive awards. $325.00
